Hi there! I want to have a quick chat about reservations

In the last 5-7 years, more than a dozen sewists have gone out of business in our area and while there's a few new ones, there just aren't enough folks doing alterations for the amount of work there is in Southeastern Minnesota.

We've had a reservation list for a long time for Wedding Gowns, however, for the first time in 32 years, we've had to implement a reservation list for all the other formal clothing because, as much as we want to help everyone, we just cannot take all the people associated with every wedding party anymore.

People wearing suits, Special Occasion dresses, or clothing that has to be completed by a specific date all requires a reservation now. Prom folks, this means you, too. Our reservation lists are on our website, and they are NOT for booking appointments. We still do all the appointments over the phone, once you have a reservation.

Reservations are like taking ticket at a service counter so that you get a turn. Reservations communicate the date you are WEARING the item so we don't get too many items that are all going out the same date. If the date you're wearing the dress is full, you can look for a date a couple weeks ahead of your event, but it shouldn't be more than 3-4 weeks ahead of it.

As of right now, our Wedding gown spaces are pretty full for 2023 - there's a few left in November and December and our calendar is open now for the 2024 season. So if you're a bride on our list, please push your bridal party to go on our website and get a slot on or near your event date as these coveted spots are first come, first serve.
